Key Responsibilities- Coach, mentor, educate, motivate, and train a team of Medicare sales associates.
- Act as a strong people leader with a solid understanding of the Medicare market, resolving operational problems and providing creative solutions to increase sales while following CMS guidelines.
- Cultivate, maintain, and build relationships with Humana’s customers, internal and external business partners, and the community through telephonic, virtual, and face‑to‑face interactions with individuals and groups.
- Develop marketing budgets and seek branding opportunities.
- Work field‑based in the Pennsylvania market, traveling to meet members face to face.
- Reside in the Lehigh County area or be willing to relocate; relocation allowance is available.
- Active Health Insurance license.
- 2+ years of Medicare sales or related sales experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Experience leading a sales team, training in successful sales techniques, and delivering educational presentations.
- Proficiency in technology tools, including MS Office, various CRM platforms, and iPhone applications.
- Strong leadership, production, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt and overcome when necessary.
- Community engagement or grassroots experience marketing Medicare plans.
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
- Valid state driver’s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance meeting at least 25/25/10 coverage limits (or higher, as required by state).
- Active Life Insurance license.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong background in Medicare and the health solutions industry.
- Active engagement with the community through service, organizations, activities, and volunteerism.
- Project management background or certification (a plus).
- Ability to speak, read, and write an additional language without limitations or assistance.
- Driving Statement:
This role requires a valid state driver’s license and personal vehicle liability insurance. State driver’s license validation and MVR review are required. - Language Proficiency Assessment:
Associates speaking a language other than English must take an assessment to ensure competency. - Schedule:
Frequent meetings and periodic appointments/events may require evenings and weekends; flexibility is essential. - Training:
The first five weeks of employment and attendance are mandatory. - Work from Home Requirements:
If hybrid or home‑office work is required, the employee must provide internet service meeting a minimum download speed of 25
Mbps and upload speed of 10
Mbps. - Travel:
Although primarily field‑based, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.

Base pay range: $77,000 – $105,100 per year. This position is eligible for a commission incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
