About the RoleWe are looking for an Enrollment Advisor / Consultant to join our growing sales team. As an Enrollment Advisor / Consultant, you will meet with high school students via Zoom and their parents to do an assessment of their academic credentials, achievements and goals. Then be able to present the Empowerly comprehensive suite of college admissions programs and follow up with the families to help them enroll.
KeyRequirements and Responsibilities
- Document and manage complete sales cycles, from qualifying inbound leads to selling Empowerly’s suite of solutions to families, and accurately forecast your sales pipeline.
- Sustain direct referrals from the Empowerly customers you assisted.
- Work both independently and collaboratively as part of various teams within your assigned areas to reach sales goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ambassador to our students and families.
- This is a customer-facing role conducted over Zoom and requires a quiet, professional home workspace along with a consistently professional appearance on camera.
- Drive revenue to achieve individual and team monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track all deal data in Hub Spot (deal source, close time, etc.) to understand the best sales strategies.
- 5-7 years of quota-carrying, business-to-consumer (B2C) sales experience.
- Availability to work 10am - 7pm PST and at least one weekend day/week.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Proficiency with SaaS platforms, Hub Spot, Salesforce, Google Suite.
- Embraces opportunities, takes risks, and challenges the status quo.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Must be a resident of the U.S. and perform the role from within the U.S. at all times.
- Strongly prefer candidates that have both B2C and B2B experience selling intangible products/services.
- Strongly prefer candidates that have experience selling within the college admissions consulting space.
- Consulting experience working with students to get them into top universities.
- Experience selling higher contract value education while exceeding quota.
- Experience selling intangibles.
- 3-5 Years of experience working remotely on an inside sales team.
- Knowledge of the college admissions space preferred.
- Consultative selling experience.
