TTM Territory Manager - Southern

Job Summary

The Territory Manager (TM) for the Therapeutic Technology Management (TTM) division is responsible for driving sales revenue, developing new business opportunities that align with the company's goals, and contributing to overall team success. The TM is expected to maintain strong clinical expertise, stay current on product solutions and competitive knowledge, and manage challenging situations proactively. Experience in hospital, office, and clinical settings in Critical Care Units is required.

• Drive sales revenue to exceed established priorities and revenue targets.
• Define and develop sustainable new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain sustainable strategic business relationships in key accounts.
• Perform product demonstrations, customer education, and in-service activities.
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual plans to meet revenue targets.
• Maintain excellence in clinical knowledge within respective disease states.
• Maintain excellence in territory management and selling skills.
• Deliver sales training to inside and field sales employees and channel partners as requested.
• Present sales modules, presentations/workshops, and overall sales training curriculum at new hire training classes and sales meetings.
• Control expenses within territory budgets and manage resources according to BD guidelines and policies.
• Maintain open, positive, and productive communication with the sales team, customer service, sales management, and home office staff.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality in compliance with BD Quality Policy and other documented quality processes.
• Complete required administrative duties, including call reports and monthly results reports, promptly.
• Maintain accurate customer and account files, written and electronic.
• Represent BD at local, regional, and national medical conferences.
• Perform additional special projects and duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) with 5+ years of sales experience and demonstrated sales success. Graduate degree preferred.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license and compliance with BD auto safety standards.
• Strong clinical expertise and experience in Critical Care settings.
• Outbound sales and relationship‑building skills in a complex healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to manage territory and maintain accuracy in sales reporting and data entry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms.

The position is based in a home office, hospital, HCP office, or clinical Critical Care environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Frequent travel within the territory is required. A minimum of four days of in‑office presence per week may be required for on‑site collaboration, while remote or field‑based arrangements are possible in certain locations.
