Position:Field Sales Account Executive (Long Island, NY)
• Candidates must reside in the Long Island, NY territory.
Responsibilities- Act as the primary point of contact for Cars Commerce customers, focusing on ongoing success, retention, and growth.
- Sell products and services to existing customers and maintain relationships through regular in‑person visits within the assigned territory.
- Respond to client inquiries and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Execute sales strategy, identify and close upsell opportunities, and prepare reports that communicate measurable value.
- Demonstrate expertise in Cars Commerce products, services, and the digital automotive marketplace.
- Manage pipeline with discipline—maintain daily Salesforce hygiene, track coverage ratios, forecast accurately, and apply a structured sales methodology.
- Travel at least 75% of the time within the assigned territory for face‑to‑face engagement.
- Partner across selling and servicing roles to ensure customers receive maximum value from the platform.
- Disciplined: Pipeline rigor, Salesforce hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and use of structured methodology.
- Results‑Proven: Consistent, multi‑year quota attainment with quantifiable results.
- Interconnected Solution Seller: Media/digital advertising or SaaS background; comfortable owning SMB and mid‑market accounts.
- Voraciously Hungry: Grit, tenacity, and personal ownership of outcomes.
- Earning‑Motivated: Financial drive with preference for uncapped commission.
- Excellent planning and solutions‑selling experience with a structured, repeatable methodology (Sandler, Challenger, SPIN, or Consultative).
- Motivated and comfortable working remotely from a home office as well as in the field.
- Ability to conduct in‑depth sales presentations including product demonstrations.
- Proven persuasion and negotiation skills, with a tenacity to re‑engage stalled deals.
- Experience in automotive or digital marketplace strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship‑building skills.
- Strong business acumen: pipeline coverage ratio, conversion rates, forecast accuracy.
- 5+ years of progressive B2B sales experience in media, digital advertising, marketing SaaS, or automotive solutions.
- Proven multi‑year quota attainment record with specific figures, percentages, and rankings.
- Demonstrated Salesforce proficiency with strong CRM hygiene habits.
- Experience selling advertising or complex SaaS/software solutions to SMB or mid‑market leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Financially motivated with preference for uncapped, accelerated commission.
Target compensation range: $118,600–$148,250 (total target). Variable pay is uncapped.
