Regional Field Trainer - West Coast
Overview

Responsibilities- Design and develop sales training programs for field sales representatives, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, objection handling, and territory management.
- Conduct field rides and coach field sales personnel in alignment with district managers.
- Utilize data‑driven insights to personalize training methods based on individual strengths and areas for improvement.
- Establish a platform for ongoing peer‑to‑peer knowledge sharing and collaboration among sales teams, regional trainers, and corporate partners.
- Support strategic pull‑through of marketing and sales strategy through development and coaching of customer‑facing sales teams.
- Lead large‑scale training initiatives such as national meetings, launch meetings, and advanced sales trainings.
- Maintain consistent communication and partner closely with the Regional Sales Director to align training initiatives with regional business priorities.
- 8–12years of related experience in sales training or a comparable role; a graduate degree may be desirable with 4years of experience.
- Strong leadership, sales, and technical skills to coach new hires, active sales teams, and leadership groups.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Adaptability in a dynamic work environment and the ability to execute training projects in live instructor‑led or virtual formats.
- Excellent time‑management skills and capacity to balance multiple projects and deliverables.
- Willingness to acquire new cross‑functional skills and develop leadership abilities within Dexcom.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8–12 years of related experience. A graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
Travel & Work ArrangementJob requires 50–75% travel. Work is performed from a home office; a hybrid working environment may be available for those within 75miles of a Dexcom site.
