Location:
This role requires associates to be in-office 1–2 days per week to foster collaboration, while providing flexibility for remote work. Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance or have required accommodations.
We are looking for a dynamic professional to manage client retention in the 10‑99 level funded space, provide full insurance in the 51‑99 space, and cross‑sell dental, vision, and supplemental accident products. This position thrives in market‑facing activities and operates within a POD environment.
Responsibilities- Obtain assigned persistency and cross‑selling goals on an annual basis.
- Collaborate with underwriting and implementation teams to renew and install plans and plan changes.
- Achieve retention and growth targets through execution of the sales process.
- Cultivate trust‑based relationships and develop comprehensive understandings of client needs and priorities.
- Act as a consultative partner with brokers, consultants, and key decision makers.
- Develop business plans to address broker and client needs.
- Conduct broker and/or agency education on pertinent topics.
- Serve as the primary customer contact and coordinate with internal partners to exceed client expectations.
- Drive opportunities for additional growth and product sales.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry, products, and regulations.
- Provide account management knowledge to individual and/or small group clients, and seek guidance from leadership as needed.
- BA/BS degree.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Sales license and appointment required where necessary upon hire, or to be obtained within 60 days.
- Client‑facing experience.
- Proficiency with office tools, cloud‑based software, social media, and collaboration tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% within Wisconsin.
This position requires a hybrid work model, with at least one day per week onsite at an Elevance Health location, unless specified otherwise by the hiring manager.
