Job PurposeThe Sales Support Representative provides administrative assistance to Senior Managers of Medicare Sales, a Director and a team of Career Medicare Sales Representatives. The role supports adding new members, retaining customers, and enabling the sales team to focus on conversion.
Responsibilities- Assist members and agents who contact the office, answering inquiries, taking messages, and planning/promoting on‑site events.
- Handle daily office duties such as receiving and sending mail, scheduling and supporting office vendors and maintenance.
- Support Sales Representative onboarding and training.
- Manage regional expenses and order supplies and marketing materials; keep track of inventory, stock, and maintain an organized supply area.
- Create and maintain sales reporting documents in various databases.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, CMS guidelines, and privacy requirements.
- Coordinate and support team meetings and events.
- Perform general administrative duties.
- 1+ years of administrative experience.
- Advanced computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office, use of laptops, and experience with CRM tools.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Self‑directed and a genuine team player.
- Remote work, with possible in‑office presence in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, or DC as needed.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Bilingual, able to speak, read and write in both English and an additional language without limitations.
- Minimum download speed of 25
Mbps and upload speed of 10
Mbps. - Work from a dedicated space that protects member PHI/HIPAA information.
- Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.
Pay range: $44,900 – $60,200 per year (federal estimate for 40‑hour week). Pay may vary based on location and experience.
