Sales Manager Project Business - UK
Responsibilities

Define target applications, industries and customers.

Target "Project" business in the UK and Ireland.

Maintain existing customer base and acquire new profitable customers, developing long‑standing relationships.

Travel 80% of the time, remaining 20% from the home office.

Conduct customer visits, present company and product offerings, and arouse interest.

Select drives, calculate prices and prepare offers.

Evaluate and understand applications and perform failure analysis.

Negotiate orders with customers.

Collaborate with factories and internal sales to share technical knowledge and provide support.

Initiate technically and commercially clarified orders for factory processing.

Assist factories with order processing and handling complaints.

Monitor markets and trends, reporting them to management.

Support management in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecast of incoming orders.

Implement and develop a sales strategy suitable for the area of responsibility.

Review commercial contracts within Project RFQs.

Qualifications

Mechanical or electrical engineering background or equivalent experience.

Several years of B2B business experience in industry.

Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and Ireland.

Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Independent worker who is also a team player.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and open to using a CRM system.

Hull, United Kingdom (office with remote option).
