Job Overview
As an Industry Technical Sales Specialist, you will leverage technical expertise and sales acumen to deliver cutting‑edge Intel solutions that address customer challenges and drive adoption across diverse verticals. Your focus will be on developing advanced solutions, advocating for Intel technology, and building strategic relationships with customers and industry partners.
Role functions within Intel’s Enterprise Solutions Sales group, which works to enable data‑driven insights and empower customers across sectors. This team plays a critical role in advancing technical innovation and supporting Intel’s broader mission of delivering industry‑leading technology.
Key Responsibilities- Influence and advocate the technical capabilities of Intel products and solutions for Intel business units through a vertically‑oriented, solutions‑led approach.
- Manage end‑customer technical relationships and provide expertise to support Intel product purchases.
- Develop technically advanced solutions that create pull for Intel products and address customer business needs.
- Provide deep understanding of key technology trends, industry segments, and Intel product lines to create solutions that solve customer problems and drive demand.
- Partner with customers, OEMs, ISVs, SIs, and internal Intel teams to optimize solutions, software, and services across the stack.
- Gather customer feedback to identify satisfaction drivers and strategic opportunities for improvement.
- Communicate technical requirements to product development road‑map as a strategic input.
- Deliver presentations and keynotes at Intel, industry, and customer forums to position Intel as a thought leader.
- Customer success and outcome‑driven mindset; work with Account Executives to create solutions that move the needle.
- Voice of the Customer; advocate industry‑specific requirements to Intel product teams.
- Business acumen and industry knowledge across Oil & Gas, FSI, Retail, Transportation, and Manufacturing.
- Exceptional communication and influence skills; strong presentation and storytelling abilities; executive presence to engage senior technical leaders and C‑level stakeholders.
- Willingness to collaborate with Account Executives on complex sales cycles and manage large, strategic opportunities through the partner ecosystem.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet end‑user customers.
- Self‑driven, adaptable, proactive; passion for continuous learning in emerging industry trends; ability to juggle multiple engagements in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in system architecture, performance engineering, or technical pre‑sales roles.
- Deep understanding of enterprise IT needs including Edge, Data Center, Storage, Networking, AI, public cloud, and client device deployment.
- Experience conducting competitive analysis and articulating technical differentiation.
- Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time as business needs arise.
- Must reside within 25 miles of Dallas, TX.
- Experience with Oil & Gas and FSI workloads and solutions.
- In‑depth knowledge of Intel architectures for enterprise clients and data center infrastructure, and familiarity with complementary ecosystem solutions.
- Working knowledge of leading public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid‑cloud migration best practices.
- Experience with AI/ML, agentic AI, cloud‑native workloads, or edge computing solutions.
- Experience calling on Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas (TOLA) enterprise accounts.
- Experience with programming and application development/optimization.
- Knowledge of AMD and NVIDIA architectures, including ROCm and CUDA ecosystems.
- Understanding relationships with OEMs/ODMs and the ecosystem serving customers in this segment.
We offer a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, stock bonuses, and benefit programs covering health, retirement, and vacation. Salary range for this role in the U.S. is $–$ USD. Work model is fully home‑based with occasional visits to Intel sites as needed. Remote work from other countries is not permitted.
