Most successful representatives earn $100,000–$150,000+, with top performers exceeding that, through an uncapped commission structure and an established customer base in Canada’s premier wine territory.
This is a relationship-driven sales role, not a transactional one.
You’ll represent a premium portfolio of family‑owned, imported wineries to Toronto’s restaurants, sommeliers, and beverage directors — introducing new wines, running staff tastings, coordinating wine dinners, and growing accounts you build yourself.
If you’re entrepreneurial, know Toronto’s on‑premise wine trade, and want a career where your effort sets your income, we’d like to meet you.
What you’ll be doing- Growing and managing a portfolio of restaurant and hospitality accounts
- Building relationships with sommeliers, beverage directors, owners, and managers
- Introducing customers to new wines and producers
- Conducting staff education sessions and wine tastings
- Coordinating wine dinners and special events, including occasional visits from winemakers
- Identifying new business opportunities throughout your territory
- Managing account receivables
- Working toward defined sales and profitability targets
- Proven success in wine or beverage sales, preferably within Ontario’s on‑premise market
- Existing relationships within Toronto’s restaurant community are a strong asset
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Must reside within the GTA
- A hunter mentality — comfortable prospecting new accounts, not just managing existing ones
- Smart Serve certification
- College diploma, university degree, or equivalent professional experience
- Uncapped commission structure with quarterly performance bonuses
- Established customer base to accelerate your start
- Ongoing wine education, including occasional travel to visit producers we represent
- Flexibility to work from home when appropriate, with most of your time spent in the field with customers
If you’re passionate about wine and hospitality, and want a career built on relationships and results, we’d like to hear from you.
