As Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Canada, you will lead and develop a high‑performing team, build influential relationships across the diabetes care community, and drive meaningful sales growth while improving patient outcomes. Applicants must be located within Eastern Canada – Ontario or Quebec to be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Meet or exceed sales targets and market share within the assigned region.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the local healthcare system, reimbursement processes, and key account management.
- Build and sustain relationships with key diabetes decision‑makers and influencers in the region.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Omnipod® System and related diabetes products, including competitive analysis; train and lead the team on product knowledge and technology.
- Coach Territory Managers and Clinical Sales Specialists on executing commercial strategies for the Omnipod® System and ensure compliance with credentialing and training requirements.
- Ensure the team conducts field sales activities professionally and in line with the marketing strategy.
- Hire, develop, and retain top sales and clinical talent.
- Oversee budget utilization for commercial and training resources.
- Work effectively with commercial and corporate teams to achieve shared goals.
- Complete all administrative tasks promptly and within budget.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, life sciences, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales teams (minimum 5 years) within the medical device or healthcare industry, including experience leading, coaching, and developing high‑performing sales teams. Strong preference for experience in diabetes products.
- Established relationships with healthcare professionals, especially endocrinologists, and a strong understanding of the diabetes care landscape, market dynamics, patient pathways, and competitive environment.
- Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and developing sales teams on product knowledge, competitive positioning, and effective selling strategies to maximize performance and customer impact.
- Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written); ability to communicate and influence stakeholders across diverse regions.
- Master's degree in business administration.
- Sales experience with diabetes products and/or technology.
- Leadership – ability to lead, motivate, and develop high‑performing sales teams.
- Sales expertise – proven record of achieving targets and executing effective sales strategies.
- Communication and influence – strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical skills – data‑driven mindset with strong analytical and decision‑making capabilities.
- Technical proficiency – skilled in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Relationship building – proven ability to build and maintain key industry relationships.
- Adaptability and change management – thrives in fast‑paced environments and leads through change and transformation.
- Valid driver’s license required. Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned region. Position will require frequent travel by air and automobile within assigned region; regular overnight travel may be required.
