Role Overview
Cambria is seeking a sales and relationship‑driven individual based in San Antonio to grow our business within the architectural and design community. The candidate will develop, cultivate, and grow sales throughout the assigned territory, provide superior service to prospects and customers, market the Cambria brand, and influence specifications and purchases.
Key Responsibilities- Build and cultivate solid relationships with residential and commercial architects and designers in the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strategically beneficial working relationships and proactively plan sales calls with partners that influence specifications.
- Collaborate daily with Market Representatives in this and other markets to steward and close active projects.
- Provide samples for specific projects and update product libraries with all Cambria designs, marketing materials, and contact information.
- Actively participate in industry associations such as IIDA and AIA for networking.
- Be available to meet customers daily, including over meals or at events, sometimes outside normal business hours.
- Maintain a continual organized and professional presence in the local market.
- Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plans, calibrating progress with your District Manager.
- Accurately collect and update customer information daily in Salesforce.
- Accurately collect and update commercial project information daily in the project tracker via the Commercial Nerve Center.
- Identify and participate in appropriate trade shows to increase brand recognition.
- Maintain and submit expense invoices for reimbursement daily.
- Educate and represent the Cambria brand and product to architects, designers, and specifiers.
- Present product knowledge materials and effectively educate on product attributes and differentiators.
- Help customers understand the value, quality, and history of the brand.
- Understand all sales and marketing programs and materials to present to customers.
- Be an expert in industry standards and regulatory codes, including LEED and green issues.
- Maintain high‑level business, financial, and industry expertise to advise partners effectively.
- Conduct quality AIA and IDCEC continuing education seminars.
- Actively use all social media channels Cambria participates in to promote the brand and product.
- Experience in the architectural and design industry is a plus.
- Previous B2B sales experience is required.
- Strong business knowledge and financial acumen.
- Proven customer‑focused track record with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships and sales track record.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Superior organizational and follow‑up skills.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and fiscal responsibility.
- Must be able to work from home as needed.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred). - Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years in B2B sales, preferably within the architectural and design field. - Systems Proficiency:
Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides) suites;
Concur and Salesforce preferred. - Travel: 90% local travel to customers; remaining 10% to trade shows, associations, and trips to Minnesota for training.
- Driver’s License:
Must hold a valid driver’s license. - Physical:
Ability to lift up to 50pounds to deliver samples and trade show materials. - Availability:
Must work extended hours, evenings, overnight, and weekends.
- Starting salary range: $85,000–$116,775.
