Key Account Manager | Pump & Fluid Handling Solutions | Houston, TX

We are working exclusively with a globally recognised pump manufacturer to find a Key Account Manager for their Texas team. This is a newly created position within a business that is in serious growth mode - actively expanding their US commercial team

This is a strategic sales role focused specifically on EPC account management and capital project / pump sales into oil and gas, chemical, and petrochemical markets across Texas. You will be responsible for building and managing long-term relationships with key EPC decision makers, identifying and tracking major capital projects from early stage through to award, and acting as the central EPC interface across the region

It is a hybrid role split between time at a home office, in the Houston office, and some travel to customer sites locally

• Developing and executing strategic account plans for key EPC firms across Texas
• Building relationships with engineering, procurement, and construction decision makers
• Identifying and tracking major capital projects through EPC channels
• Providing technical guidance on pump and fluid handling product selection
• Coordinating internally across regional sales teams on cross-territory EPC projects
• Representing the business at industry events and trade shows

• Proven pump sales experience - centrifugal, positive displacement, or metering pumps is essential
• Background in oil and gas, petrochemical, or chemical markets
• Experience managing EPC relationships and capital project sales cycles
• Technical or engineering degree preferred
• Houston based - or able to commute there regularly
