Inside Sales​/ Customer Service Representative

The Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative will maintain accounts and conduct day-to-day activities, resolve conflict and ensure customer satisfaction. Daily activities include heavy phone and internet correspondence with customers and vendors, source custom, non-standard, value-added solutions, enter all sales orders and purchase orders into the operating system, and set up part numbers and manage contract files.

• Sell industrial hose, gasket and piping products and maintain customer accounts.
• Take orders on the phone and over the internet.
• Enter orders and product quotes into the computer system.
• Emphasize salable features, quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales orders for orders obtained.
• Estimate delivery dates based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules and inventory.
• Prepare reports of business transactions in the company database.
• Work with account managers to keep account activities up to date.
• Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.
• This position is onsite and does not offer a remote work arrangement.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
• Must possess good working knowledge of engineering principles, solid modeling, welding, and fabrication.
• Must be able to successfully function in a fast-paced, high-volume environment utilizing Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Solid Works, etc.
• Knowledge of industrial hose, gasket and piping required.
