Position: Account Executive - Online Division - Grand Canyon University

Overview

Grand Canyon Education (GCE), an educational service company closely affiliated with Grand Canyon University, is seeking a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Pocatello, . The position offers a starting salary of $75,000 per year, with potential to reach a six‑figure income after five years of successful service. New hires will receive in‑person training at our Phoenix, AZ campus and a generous benefits package, including tuition‑free education up to the master’s level and 75% coverage at the doctorate level for employees and eligible dependents.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory strategy, including event and activity planning to raise awareness of Grand Canyon University's online programs in education, healthcare, and business.
  • Build high‑impact partnerships and deliver informational presentations, calls, and emails to prospective students and their families.
  • Provide counseling and support through in‑person, phone, and email interactions, championing the GCE mission and guiding students through the admissions process.
  • Track inquiry generation and iteratively improve outreach tactics to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Manage travel and schedule to attend events and meet stakeholders across the territory.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales or outreach goals.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize competing priorities, including during travel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High emotional intelligence and ability to coach a diverse range of students.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving record, and willingness to travel and work evenings or weekends as required.
  • No delinquent or defaulted federal student loans (or current status in a rehabilitation program).
  • Relevant industry experience and familiarity with CRM tools are a plus.
