Kem Krest is a 500+ person company with 11 sites across North America, trusted by companies like GM, BMW, Harley‑Davidson, Honda, and Ford. We're becoming something bigger — evolving from a leading automotive service chemicals company into a broad supply chain solutions partner, across industries. To get big, we’re going small. We’re building a tiny team, working directly with our President and CEO, to create our future.
This role will be out front, connecting Kem Krest’s 30-year legacy of success to the partners and solutions that will drive our next 30 years.
Remote Work Eligibility: This position is available only to candidates who reside and work in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, South Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, or Virginia. Candidates located outside of these states are not eligible for employment at this time.
THE JOBHunt for customer i nsights, warm signals, and new service offerings to create new sales wins. You won't be a lone wolf on an island: you'll partner shoulder-to-shoulder with the President and a marketing-tech lead to brainstorm fast, get in front of customers and find out what actually sticks.
- Spot the signals — dig up insights and early demand for brand-new services.
- Test in the wild — take rough ideas straight to customers and learn fast.
- Close the early wins — turn prospect conversations into Kem Krest's first proof points.
- Shape the future — turn customer insight and 30 years of know-how into Kem Krest's next chapter.
- You’ll “fail” a lot — that's the job, not a bug.
- You’ll hear more “no” than “yes,” and you keep swinging anyway.
- There's no playbook yet. You're writing it.
- Entrepreneurial — you'd rather build the road rather than follow a well-traveled one.
- Comfortable with ambiguity — fuzzy problems energize you instead of freezing you.
- Biased toward action — you ship, test, and learn before others finish planning.
- Customer-first — you'd rather have a real customer conversation than spend hours at a computer.
- Sales-savvy — 2–5 years of sales experience, and you genuinely like the chase.
- Marketing strategist — you can research, analyze, segment, and listen to customer needs.
- Glass half full— you ask “Why not?” more often than “Has anyone done this before?”
- Customer & prospect contacts — a steady drumbeat of real conversations with customers and prospects, week in and week out.
- Experiments in market — how many new and existing services you put in front of customers to test.
- Early wins — pilots, proof points, and first paid engagements you help land.
- Pipeline built — qualified opportunities and revenue from new and commercialized services.
- Speed of learning — how fast you turn a “no” into a sharper next move.
Reports to the President Customer and prospect-facing Ideal for someone who loves the 0-to-1.
