This full-time Retail Flooring and Tile Sales Associate role is a hybrid position based in South Austin, TX, with some work-from-home flexibility. The associate will assist walk-in retail customers and builder clients by understanding their project requirements, recommending suitable flooring and tile products, and guiding them through design options. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing product demonstrations, preparing quotes, processing orders, coordinating with installation teams, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction.

The role also involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing project details, updating product knowledge, and collaborating with team members to achieve sales goals.

• Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to listen, educate, and support clients throughout the selection and purchasing process.
• Proven Sales skills, including consultative selling, closing techniques, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of Flooring products and Building Materials, with the ability to explain features, benefits, and appropriate applications.
• Account Management skills for maintaining relationships with retail customers and builder clients, including follow-up and project coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort interacting with both homeowners and construction professionals.
• Ability to read and interpret basic plans or measurements and provide accurate estimates.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Basic computer proficiency for using POS systems, CRM tools, email, and online product resources.
• Prior experience in retail sales, design, or the flooring/tile industry is highly beneficial.
