Associate Portfolio Executive

C.H. Robinson is hiring an Associate Portfolio Executive to build and manage a customer portfolio while developing long‑term, trusted relationships. * Build and grow a portfolio of customers, strengthening relationships and uncovering needs to convert opportunities into active business.
* Re-engage dormant accounts and expand within existing customers to increase volume, revenue, and wallet share.
* Own day-to-day customer interactions by responding quickly to questions, managing exceptions and escalations, and resolving conflict professionally.
* Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal partners to meet customer commitments and service expectations.
* Quote and price freight, applying negotiation skills, market insight, and customer buying patterns to execute pricing strategy.
* Plan, build, and execute shipments (with AI agent support) aligned to customer expectations
* Identify account growth potential and cultivate transactional relationships into more committed, repeatable partnerships supported by business development resources.
* Use data, reporting, and market/customer updates to uncover service and growth opportunities and inform daily priorities.
* Improve how work gets done by adopting new tools/technology, identifying automation opportunities, and helping document and follow SOPs.
* Operate with urgency and a team-first mindset by supporting teammates' customers when needed and contributing in daily/weekly stand-ups.

Required Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED.
* Minimum 6 months Customer Engagement Experience internal or external
* Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving.
* Demonstrated negotiation, collaboration, and influencing skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs.
