Temp Remote Call Agent Job Singapore,Sales

We are looking for temporary Remote Call agents who are both fluent in English and Mandarin to support an upcoming merchant engagement campaign. This role is suitable from students or individuals looking for a flexible temporary working arrangement. The Remote Call agents will be assigned a list of approximately 1,000 merchants to contact with lesser call volumes in the subsequent months.

Job Responsibilities Phase 1:
Discovery & Diagnosis

Conduct structured conversations using guided script
Ask targeted diagnostic questions to uncover:
- Operational issues e.g. business closure, renovation, terminal faults
- Usage barriers e.g. switching to competitors, lack of awareness, low adoption
Accurately capture responses in structured format
Expected output:
- Clear categorization of decline drivers
- Segmentation of merchants into actionable groups for follow-up

Phase 2:
Merchant Discovery & Diagnosis

To re-engage selected merchants from Phase 1 and shift from diagnosis to activation

Introduce relevant incentive programme(s) developed by NETS' Sales team to engage merchants
Clearly communicate:
- Programme mechanics
- Benefits to merchant
Drive commitment and immediate action
Expected output:
- Merchants informed of incentives given to them
- Increased intent to resume / grow NETS usage

Requirements

Able to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin
. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Comfortable speaking to merchants over the phone.
Good communication and interpersonal skills using company-provided scripts and call guidelines
Able to follow scripts while communicating naturally.
Responsible, organized, and able to record information accurately.

Additional Information

Tentatively Start Date of work: 1st August
Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (primarily work from home, with approximately 1-2 days per week in the office)
Pay: $7-8 per hour
