OVERVIEW
We are hiring a Sales Representative / Assistant Sales Manager for a leading international logistics and transportation solutions provider based in Singapore. This role is responsible for driving business development, managing key customer accounts, and supporting sales growth across local and regional markets. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with overseas offices, develop strategic customer relationships, and contribute to the company's commercial expansion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Drive direct sales activities to achieve sales targets, KPIs, and business objectives
- Manage existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities through prospecting activities
- Prepare pricing analyses, quotations, and commercial proposals for customers
- Monitor sales performance and implement contingency plans where necessary
- Work closely with customers to resolve operational, service, and commercial-related issues
- Coordinate with local and overseas offices to support customer requirements and business development initiatives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support sales strategies
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop and improve operational processes and SOPs
- Support annual budget planning and ensure achievement of sales objectives
- Provide guidance and coaching to junior sales team members when required
- Degree or tertiary qualification in a relevant field
- Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or a related industry
- Business-level Japanese communication skills (spoken and written to communicate with internal colleagues and clients)
- Strong customer relationship management and business development capabilities
- Experience in tank operations, tank leasing, or the chemical industry will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT applications
Self-motivated, proactive, and performance-driven team player
- Monthly salary: SGD 4,500 – 5,500 (up to SGD 6,500 depending on experience)
- AWS (13th Month Bonus)
- Variable bonus based on company and individual performance
- Annual Leave: 14 days (increases by 1 day for each year of service)
- Hybrid working arrangement: 2 days Work From Home per month
- Medical benefits including company insurance and panel doctor coverage
- Transportation expenses claimable for client visits
- Working hours:
8:30/9:00 AM – 5:30/6:00 PM
