An Industrial Automation company is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join their team in San Francisco Bay area, CA. This position is responsible for developing new clients and maintaining existing clients. A bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering), 5 years of sales/sales management experience in a manufacturer setting, and proficiency in MS office is required
. This is a full time, remote work, exempt, position with commission, excellent benefits and 401k.
Open to local candidates in San Francisco Bay area/San Jose, Northern California
Option for Remote work(Home office) in Northern California
Outside Sales Representative Duties:- Report to General Manager
- Work with distributors to sell and promote products
- Create and develop business relationships to increase market share and sales growth
- Monitor and manage quotes activities and sales activities via CRM
- Regular business travel is required to the customers in the territories. Overnight business trips are required
- Maintain strong relationships with customers in collaboration with authorized distributors
Skills:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering or related field)
- Must have 5 years of sales or sales management experience at makers/manufacturers
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Must be able to travel and drive
- Must have experience with distributor or channel partner sales management, preferably in the industrial field
- Knowledge of industrial and technical sales development are a big plus
