Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week. This role is responsible for managing and growing sales within the airline channel, building strong relationships with airline clients and manufacturer partners, and identifying opportunities to expand product placement in inflight programs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, coordinating pricing and proposals, and overseeing account plans to meet revenue targets.
The Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with marketing initiatives, track performance metrics, and prepare regular reports and forecasts. This role also involves monitoring industry trends, attending relevant meetings or trade events, and ensuring a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales or account management, preferably within the airline, food and beverage, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong skills in relationship building, client communication, and negotiation to support long-term partnerships with airlines and manufacturers.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, analyze market opportunities, and manage a sales pipeline to achieve goals.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, spreadsheets, and presentation tools to prepare proposals, track activity, and report results.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects in a hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel nationwide
- and occasionally beyond for client meetings, supplier visits, and industry events.
- Knowledge of airline operations or inflight service programs is a strong plus.
