Position Summary

The Clinical Sales Specialist will own a defined territory of hospital and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) accounts, with a primary focus on educating clinical stakeholders and increasing utilization of Barhemsys within those accounts. In this field-based, quota-carrying role, you will build the relationships and account plans needed to expand awareness and adoption of Barhemsys across your territory. You will report to the Director, Strategic Accounts & Field Leadership and coordinate closely with the Regional Account Director covering your region.

This role requires an entrepreneurial approach to account management, emphasizing relationship-building and results in a lean, high-autonomy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage an assigned territory of hospital and ASC accounts, with primary accountability for educating clinical stakeholders and increasing utilization of Barhemsys within those accounts.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales targets and quota for the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with pharmacists, formulary committees, and clinical stakeholders to expand awareness and utilization of Barhemsys.
  • Execute account plans focused on educating stakeholders and driving increased utilization of Barhemsys across assigned accounts.
  • Conduct needs assessments and product presentations to educate stakeholders on Barhemsys benefits within product label.
  • Support formulary access and protocol adoption in assigned accounts, escalating complex reimbursement or contracting questions as needed.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Account Director covering your region to ensure alignment on territory strategy and account coverage.
  • Monitor territory market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, and report insights to the Director, Strategic Accounts & Field Leadership.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and account documentation.
  • Ensure all interactions comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations, including proper documentation and reporting.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and regional events to expand network and promote LXO US products.
  • Manage travel and expenses efficiently, in line with LXO US's resource-conscious culture.
  • Thrive in a lean, entrepreneurial organization by collaborating cross-functionally with the broader US team, proactively taking ownership of initiatives beyond core functional responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of sales experience selling in or to hospitals; ASC experience a plus.
  • Background in PACU, peri-operative, or anesthesia settings a plus.
  • Familiarity with hospital formulary processes, GPOs, and pharmacy or OR stakeholders a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills; proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting software.
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial drive; comfortable working independently in a small-team setting.
  • Travel required within assigned territory; valid driver's license and ability to manage a home-based office.
