Apex Systems is hiring Enrollment Specialists for a large Healthcare Client. This is an exciting customer facing role! We are looking for a self-starter who is comfortable with digital and in person presenting; and enjoys interacting with people!

Location:

Onsite in Southern California - multiple opportunities in Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, San Diego.

Role Overview:
We are seeking Enrollment Specialist professionals to serve as on-site representatives during open enrollment, wellness, and new employee orientation events. In this role, you will partner with Account Managers to educate employees, members, and prospective members about products, services, and their value. This position is responsible for attending employer, community, and open enrollment events on an on-call basis, delivering formal presentations, and serving as an informational resource for sales and account management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve business problems, escalate risks, and communicate progress.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience by building and leveraging relationships with brokers, channels, and customers.
• Facilitate the enrollment and implementation process by conducting local and regional enrollment meetings.
• Serve as an advocate for customer needs during the membership enrollment and implementation process.
• Support the overall implementation or renewal of health plan membership, including research, presentation, and reporting.
• Resolve customer questions and concerns about benefits and services.

Required Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  GED/HSD required
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing, business development, managing business-to-business relationships, health industry, or health plan enrollment.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Foundational computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with navigating web-based applications and managing electronic files is also required.
• Certifications:
  
  An Accident and Health Insurance License is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of experience in the health insurance industry.
• Two (2) years of experience in health plan enrollment or a directly related field.
• Spanish fluency is preferred for select opportunities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Work Environment:
This is a remote position with the requirement to travel to client sites. Reliable transportation, including a vehicle, is required for travel, which may constitute up to 75% of the role. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional evenings, early mornings, and weekends based on business needs. Candidates must reside in or near the designated hiring location.
