Job Overview:
We're looking for a sharp, persistent, and professional Political Appointment Setter to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. In this role, you'll conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to political offices, campaigns, and key decision-makers, qualifying prospects and booking appointments for the client's closing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in political outreach, government relations, or high-pressure sales environments who thrives on the phone and knows how to navigate gatekeepers to reach the right people.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to political offices, campaigns, government contacts, and other relevant decision-makers.
Navigate gatekeepers (staffers, assistants, receptionists) professionally and effectively to reach target contacts.
Qualify prospects based on client-defined criteria before booking appointments.
Schedule and confirm appointments for the client's closing/sales team.
Accurately log all call activity, outcomes, and prospect details in the CRM in real time.
Maintain detailed, organized call notes to ensure smooth handoff to the closing team.
Handle objections confidently and adjust talking points based on prospect responses.
Follow up with warm leads and previously contacted prospects as needed.
Meet or exceed daily/weekly call volume and appointment-setting targets.
Attend Zoom check-ins, training sessions, or team meetings as required, presenting a professional appearance and demeanor.
Stay informed on relevant talking points, scripts, and campaign/client messaging updates.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in political appointment setting, political campaigns, government outreach, lobbying, or direct contact with political offices.
Demonstrated success in outbound cold calling and appointment setting.
Excellent spoken English with clear, professional phone communication.
Strong objection-handling skills and the ability to keep prospects engaged.
Comfortable and available to work U.S. business hours.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional remote work environment.
Access to a computer/webcam for Zoom meetings or Google meetings.
1 - 3 years of relevant experience for TIER 1
3 - 4 years of relevant experience for TIER 2
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in travel membership sales.
Familiarity with political, legislative, or government office structures and protocols.
Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with CRM systems for lead tracking, call logging, and pipeline management — experience with Salesforce, Hub Spot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, or similar platforms preferred.
