Area Sales Manager - Electronics

Join a long-term, successful Manufacturer’s Sales Representative team looking to expand in Michigan. This position will be essential in supporting and expanding market awareness of our products and expertise, managing projects, and bringing critical customer requirements back for development and production. You will have the opportunity to represent some of today’s leading global electronic manufacturers. Primary focus will be on automotive and other key electronic market segments within Western Michigan.

This includes all industries but with a focus within transportation.

include but are not limited to:

Manage relationships at the OEM and Tier 1/Tier 2 supply base.

• Work with Application Engineers to ensure your components are designed into the customer’s electrical architecture during the early R&D phases. Support all company teams from sales, marketing, engineering, quality, customer service, and accounting
• Lead strategic forecasting, budgeting, and contract negotiations
• Key attributes would be program management, relationship management, and technical liaison.
• Develop strategies for the utilization of emerging technologies/tools such as AI

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or equivalent.
• Understanding of Microsoft Office and CRMs.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Interest and aptitude to master highly technical products.
