This position is for a Regional Sales Engineer, USA Mid-Atlantic (W PA, WV, MD, DE, MI, IN, KY, OH, VA, DC) to support developing the business in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States, with a focus on the Automation vertical market, Security, Transportation, Water/Wastewater, Energy/Power/Utilities, Data Centers, Oil and Gas, Mining. This will be a home office based position in a major city in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States.

Position Duties/Responsibilities (include but not limited to):- Travel Required - yes, 50%+
- The Regional Sales Engineer will report to the Sr. Regional Sales Manager and be responsible for supporting the development of new business and driving sales across the USA Mid-Atlantic region. This includes calling on specifying consulting and engineering firms, distribution partners, end users such as automation OEM, system integrators, channel partners, municipalities, and others. It will include developing Automation, Security, Transportation, Oil and Gas, Water Wastewater, Utilities and Data Center vertical markets.
- Strong skills in new business developmentisrequired from sales leads identification, qualification, development to prospect and closing.
- The Regional Sales Engineer will report to and work with the Sr. Regional Sales Manager to develop, lead, train and support the regional channel partners’ field sales teams to identify, manage, and develop new opportunities from the approach stage of the sales process through closing the sale.
- The Regional Sales Engineer will be working closely with the Sr. Regional Sales Manager, Vertical Markets Teams, internal Marketing Team, Product Marketing Team, Field Application Engineers, and the Technical Support Team to promote
Antairaproducts. - The Regional Sales Engineer will attend and exhibit at 4-6 trade shows annually to attract leads, engage in technical discussions with potential partners and end users while promoting the Antaira brand.
- Strong communication, top negotiating and knowledge of networking skills are a priority, and experience in one or more of the Automation, Utilities, with an understanding of the Transportation and Security market is required.
- A strong Hunter mentality with an Account management background is key to success.
- Communication and teamwork skills are important. The Regional Sales Engineer must be able to work closely with all departments within
Antaira, in order to continuously increase knowledge and effectiveness in front of customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related experience
- Three or more years of sales experience in the Automation, Utilities, Transportation and Security market
- Knowledge of sales and marketing communication strategies, terms, and creative processes
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members at all levels of the company and with outside partners
- Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing situation
- Strong time management and priority skills are required
- 50%+ business travel is required
- Strong computer knowledge of Google Suite (Doc, Spreadsheet, and Slide) and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
