Pay Range: $25 - $28/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• The Seasonal Sr.Sales Associate primarily supports oursalesforce during one of our heaviest seasons of business (September through December)
• Each fall, we conduct open enrollment meetings where we meet with beneficiaries to explain their health benefit choices
• The temporary on-callsalesstaff would assist the full timesalesteam onsite at seminars and events
• We are looking for individuals who are comfortable in front of groups and answering questions about health insurance
• The majority of the meetings are 3 hours a day
• We're looking for seasonedsalesand marketing staff that are willing to work flexible hours to support the annual effort
• Health care experience or demonstrated knowledge is a plus.
• New on-callsalesstaff will go through training before shadowing

• Reliable transportation is a must
• Travel is involved, primarily to support seminars in the service areas. Locations include:
• Portland metropolitan area(West: Hillsborough, East: Clackamas, South: Salem, Portland).
• Reliable transportationis required, with mileage reimbursement at the national IRS rate.
• Partially remotewith in-person attendance required for seminars.
• Schedules will be shared one week in advance.
• 10-15 calls per dayto assist members with questions.
• Not asalesrole, more of a marketing support function, assisting thesalesteam.
• The primary focus is supporting thesalesteamby explaining health plan options to members, but there is no "closing deals"or selling involved.
• Assist at salesseminarsto educate and inform prospective and existing members about Client’s health plan options.
• Provide accurate informationon benefits and pricing, assisting members in understanding their health insurance options.
• Support thesalesexecutivesin the field, but the candidate will not be responsible for making sales.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• High School Diplomarequired.
• 2 years of experience in healthcareor a similar background is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite(MS Word, Excel, etc.) is necessary.
• Salesbackgroundis preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skillsare essential, with an emphasis on asking questionsto provide effective support.
• Flexibilityto handle both in-person and phone communication.
• In-person communication skills:
  Comfort in presenting to groups.
• Phone communication skills:
  Ability to assist members effectively over the phone.
• Flexibility:
  Adaptability to changing schedules and responsibilities.
