Salary Range: $150K Base

Position Summary

TOYO Solar Texas LLC is seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Sales Director to lead the growth of our photovoltaic (PV) module business throughout the United States. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding strategic customer relationships, increasing market share, and driving revenue growth within the utility-scale, commercial, industrial, and distribution markets.

The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the U.S. photovoltaic industry, strong relationships within the solar market, and a proven track record of selling solar modules or related photovoltaic components. This position requires a highly motivated sales professional who can work independently while collaborating closely with production, logistics, quality, and executive leadership to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

This is a remote position requiring regular travel throughout the United States for customer meetings, industry conferences, and trade shows.

Business Development
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual sales and revenue objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities throughout the United States.
  • Build long-term relationships with EPC contractors, developers, distributors, utilities, OEMs, and other strategic customers.
  • Expand TOYO Solar's customer base while increasing market penetration and brand recognition.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Lead customer presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through order fulfillment and post-sale support.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining long-term business relationships.
  • Coordinate customer orders with Production, Planning, Logistics, and Quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor order status, production schedules, inventory availability, and payment collections.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns while maintaining positive business relationships.
  • Monitor U.S. solar market trends, pricing, tariffs, government incentives, and industry regulations.
  • Analyze competitor activity and provide market intelligence to executive leadership.
  • Recommend strategic initiatives that improve TOYO Solar's competitive position.
Industry Representation
  • Represent TOYO Solar at industry conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.
  • Promote TOYO Solar products while strengthening the Company's reputation within the photovoltaic industry.
  • Support corporate marketing initiatives and customer acquisition strategies.
Reporting
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
  • Prepare regular sales activity, market, and business development reports for executive management.
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Other Duties
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by executive leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of successful sales experience within the photovoltaic, solar energy, renewable energy, or related manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and managing strategic customer accounts.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Renewable energy industry
  • Market pricing
  • Federal and state solar incentives
  • Industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the United States as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling photovoltaic modules or solar components.
  • Established network of relationships within the U.S. solar industry.
  • Experience negotiating large commercial supply agreements.
  • Familiarity with utility-scale, commercial, and distributed generation solar markets.
  • Experience working with domestic manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work remotely from a home office.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30–50% of the time.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
