Role DescriptionThe Business Development and Program Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Seneca, KS, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with agricultural customers and partners, and expanding market presence for Kelly Hills Unmanned Systems’ AgTech solutions. Day-to-day activities include managing sales pipelines, conducting market outreach, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and representing the company at industry events.
The position also oversees program delivery by coordinating project timelines, aligning cross-functional teams, monitoring milestones, and ensuring solutions are implemented on schedule and within budget. The manager regularly gathers customer feedback, analyzes market trends, and collaborates with technical teams to refine offerings and support long-term strategic growth.
- Ability to build and manage customer and partner relationships, including prospecting, stakeholder engagement, and account management.
- Skills in project and program coordination, such as timeline management, resource planning, and tracking deliverables.
- Experience with business development activities, including pipeline management, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation.
- Comfort with technology-driven products and data-informed decision-making, ideally within AgTech, agriculture, or related industries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, practical terms.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed to meet clients, attend demonstrations, and participate in industry events.
