Outside Sales Representative – Building Materials Eastern Ontario | Home-Based + Field Sales

We are recruiting an experienced Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory across Eastern Ontario and Ottawa Valley (excluding Ottawa). This is a field sales position calling on existing customers, developing new accounts and identifying opportunities to grow the territory.

Our client is an established Canadian manufacturer and supplier of exterior building products with a strong reputation for quality products, competitive pricing and exceptional customer service.

• Manage and grow an established Eastern Ontario territory.
• Develop new accounts through prospecting and relationship building.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, profitability and market share.
• Keep customers informed about new products and product changes.
• Gather competitive intelligence on pricing, products and market activity.
• Work closely with branch and internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Assist with warranty inspections and reporting when required.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information in CRM systems.
• Manage your territory independently while providing excellent customer service.

• 3+ years' Outside Sales experience.
• Experience selling roofing, siding, exterior building products, building envelope products or related construction materials strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop new accounts and grow existing business.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation and closing skills.
• Self-motivated and able to independently manage a large geographic territory.
• Strong organizational, communication and follow-up skills.
• CRM experience;
  Salesforce is an asset.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle required.
