The Sales Employee role at Campus Cribs is a full-time, hybrid position based in Greenville, NC, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. In this role, you will engage prospective renters, respond to inquiries, conduct property tours (virtual and in-person), and guide applicants through the leasing process. You will maintain accurate records of leads and conversions, follow up consistently, and build strong relationships with students, families, and property owners.
Daily tasks include updating listings, coordinating with operations and marketing teams, and meeting individual and team sales targets. You will also participate in community and campus events to promote Campus Cribs and gather feedback to improve the renter experience.
- Demonstrated ability in customer-facing sales or leasing, with strong skills in prospecting, presenting options, and closing agreements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening with diverse customers.
- Basic proficiency with digital tools such as CRM systems, email platforms, and online listing or scheduling tools.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple leads, follow up consistently, and meet deadlines.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with reliability for on-site work in Greenville, NC and effective self-management while working from home.
- Customer-focused mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain professional and empathetic in high-volume or time-sensitive situations.
- Prior experience in real estate, student housing, or property management is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.
