Job Description
LHH is seeking an Enterprise Account Director for a well-established global logistics and supply chain organization. This leadership role is responsible for driving customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term growth through strategic account management, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making. The anticipated salary for this role is between $100,000 and $130,000 a year.
Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Customer Success and Account Management professionals to achieve performance goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage relationships with strategic, high-value customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
- Develop proactive account strategies to increase customer engagement, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate potential risks.
- Monitor account performance, inventory trends, and service metrics to anticipate customer needs and resolve issues before they elevate.
- Train customers on online ordering platforms, inventory management tools, reporting capabilities, and related resources.
- Partner with operations, purchasing, and other internal teams to improve processes, streamline communication, and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Advocate for customer needs by communicating feedback and recommending process improvements across the organization.
- Support forecasting efforts by analyzing customer usage patterns and collaborating with internal teams to optimise inventory planning.
- Present business insights and performance metrics during customer meetings and quarterly business reviews, translating data into meaningful recommendations.
- Assist with contract negotiations, renewals, and customer retention initiatives to foster long-term partnerships.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and drive timely, effective resolutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates with a combination of relevant education and significant professional experience will also be considered.
- At least five years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services, or a related customer-facing role, preferably within logistics, distribution, or supply chain.
- Leadership experience with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business data and provide strategic recommendations. Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
