The Business Development Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in West Palm Beach, FL, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and expanding the company’s presence in target markets. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and estimates, and negotiating contracts in collaboration with internal teams.
The Business Development Manager will partner closely with operations and account management to ensure smooth onboarding, high service standards, and long-term client satisfaction. The role also involves tracking sales performance, analyzing market trends, and contributing to strategic planning to support sustainable growth.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in landscaping, construction, or related services.
- Strong skills in client relationship building, networking, and stakeholder communication.
- Ability to analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and develop targeted sales strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software to manage pipelines, proposals, and reporting.
- Solid negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate value and close deals.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, collaborating both in-person and remotely with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Knowledge of commercial landscaping or property services is highly beneficial.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for client visits and site meetings.
