Company Description
The Forum DC is a full-service furniture vendor that blends commercial and residential interior design with turnkey project management. The team collaborates closely with clients to align design concepts with their preferred aesthetic and budget, overseeing projects from initial planning through completion. By remaining “furniture agnostic” and working with personally curated open-line manufacturers, The Forum DC maximizes design impact and function while optimizing budgets.
This approach also supports art and design communities by partnering with smaller, talented designers. The company’s mission is to bring versatility, adaptability, and passion to the industry while serving as a reliable support system for client projects.
The Moving Services Account Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in the Washington DC–Baltimore Area, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role manages client accounts related to moving and installation services, ensuring smooth coordination between design, furniture vendors, and logistics partners. Daily responsibilities include communicating with clients, preparing estimates, scheduling and tracking moves, and resolving service issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
The Account Manager will collaborate with internal design and project management teams, oversee documentation, and monitor service quality and timelines. This position also involves identifying opportunities to expand services within existing accounts and supporting sales initiatives that enhance client relationships.

- Background in Sales or client-facing roles, with the ability to identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including experience coordinating schedules, logistics, and project timelines.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment and traveling within the Washington DC–Baltimore Area as needed for site visits and client meetings.
- Familiarity with furniture, interior design, or moving services industries is beneficial but not required.
- Proficiency with common office and CRM software; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Relevant education or comparable professional experience in business, project management, or a related field.
