Medical Specialist -Pulmonology-Bethesda, MD

The Medical Specialist (Sales Representative), Pulmonology (MS) will engage Pulmonologists and other key customers within an assigned geography, present clinically focused selling messages to create and grow revenue, and consistently deliver product goals. The MS will demonstrate strong and consistent sales performance that exceeds forecast and expectations related to product goals, in a compliant manner.

• Develop strategy and implement tactics within key accounts in Pulmonary therapeutic areas to generate product utilization
• Establish and foster relationships with Pulmonary health care professionals (physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, office staff) and patient advocacy support groups
• Collaborate with regional colleagues and other field/home office teams to proactively address customer needs
• Analyze market dynamics and trends to develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives
• Participate in industry congresses, local/regional meetings, and medical conferences to support sales success

• Bachelor’s degree (required)
• 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience (required), including 2+ years selling in the Respiratory market and/or a similar subcutaneous self-injectable biologic specialty market
• Advanced clinically based selling skills; results oriented with proven success with product launches
• Experience in-servicing/training office staff, nurses, and office managers; ability to partner/collaborate with internal field teams and alliance partners
• Ability to travel and cover large geographic territories
