Rheumatology Territory Account Specialist – Asheville

Key Responsibilities

• Navigate and resolve account challenges with tailored solutions.
• Build a strategic territory plan aligned to shared priorities to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
• Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
• Use market/competitive knowledge and territory data to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
• Lead customer engagements (virtual or in person) using pull-through insights.
• Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions to solve complex challenges.
• Provide real-time access support and partner with Patient Specialty Services (PSS).
• Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized outreach.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years (industry-level) experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare or similar complex sales;
  Associate level: limited prior sales experience acceptable.
• Proven high performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
• Self-starter with analytic problem-solving; ethical leadership and compliance focus.
• Must reside within the territory or within 50 miles of the territory border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.

• Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management, and new product launches.
• Understanding of patient services/market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement; HCP medical calling.
