The Remote Salesperson role is a full-time position focused on developing and managing leasing relationships with corporate fleet customers in the East Coast, West Coast, and Southwest regions. This is a hybrid role based in the Greater Milwaukee area, combining regular remote work with periodic in-person collaboration and client visits. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting needs assessments, presenting leasing and financing options, and preparing proposals tailored to each client's fleet requirements.

The role involves managing the sales cycle from initial contact through contract closure, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate pricing and service delivery, and maintaining ongoing account relationships to encourage renewals and referrals. The Remote Salesperson will track sales activities, maintain detailed CRM records, monitor market trends, and represent Southgate Lease Services professionally in virtual and in-person meetings.

• Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably in vehicle, equipment, or financial services leasing.
• Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, and consultative selling, with the ability to understand and match client fleet needs to appropriate leasing solutions.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining long-term client relationships, including effective negotiation, contract review, and follow-up communication.
• Comfort with hybrid work arrangements, including remote collaboration tools, CRM systems, and periodic travel within the East Coast, West Coast, and Southwest territories.
• Solid business, financial, and analytical skills to interpret pricing structures, evaluate lease options, and explain cost implications to clients in clear terms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional presentation abilities in virtual and in-person settings.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, territories, and deadlines independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of fleet management, vehicle types, or equipment leasing is beneficial; prior work with corporate customers or multi-location accounts is a plus.
