Job DescriptionJob Duck is seeking a compassionate, highly organized Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for potential clients seeking legal support. In this role, you will guide prospective clients through the intake process, assess their needs, and ensure they are connected with the appropriate next steps. You will play a critical part in creating a positive first impression, building trust, and helping individuals feel supported during important life transitions.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who can balance empathy with professionalism, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. By maintaining accurate records, coordinating consultations, and supporting the client journey, you will contribute directly to the firm's growth and success.
Salary Range: 1,142 USD to 1,220 USD
Responsibilities- Talk to leads and identify whether they are qualified leads by asking a series of questions and determine whether there is potential for a conflict of interest.
- Schedule qualified leads for initial consultations (sales calls).
- Initiate and manage the pre-engagement process for prospects scheduled for consultations.
- Ensure every individual who contacts the firm receives assistance through consultations, referrals, educational resources, or other appropriate guidance.
- Prepares salespeople with all the information needed for a successful conversation/consultation.
- Maintain communication with prospects who have not scheduled consultations or have not moved forward after consultations.
- Prepares engagement agreements and follows up to ensure prospects sign the agreement and make the agreed payment.
- Updates the Firm’s databases, reports, or spreadsheets to track incoming calls, leads qualified, consultations scheduled, referral sources, and other key metrics.
- Prior customer service experience required.
- Experience with a CRM, particularly data tracking and reporting, required.
- Knowledge of the legal industry is an asset.
