Job Description
Ready to turn a job into a career?
CK Agency LLC in Little Rock, Arkansas, is looking for a motivated, goal-oriented individual to join our team as a Full-Time Sales Producer in Training. This position is designed for someone who wants to build a career in insurance sales but is not yet licensed or experienced in the industry.
No insurance experience? No problem. We provide a clear path to help you learn the business, develop your sales skills, become licensed, and transition into our Sales Producer role.
Your Career Path
This position begins with approximately 60 days of hands on experience as a Telemarketer, where you will work alongside our team to develop the communication, prospecting, follow up, and relationship building skills that are essential to becoming a successful Sales Producer.
During this training period, you will:
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers and generate opportunities for our licensed Sales Producers.
- Learn how to confidently communicate with customers and build rapport over the phone.
- Develop strong prospecting, follow up, and time management habits.
- Learn our agency's sales processes, expectations, systems, and culture.
- Work toward established daily and weekly performance goals.
- Gain valuable experience that will prepare you to successfully transition into a sales position.
- Insurance Licensing
While working in the Sales Producer in Training position, you will also work toward obtaining your required insurance license.
CK Agency LLC will provide and pay for your licensing course. Coursework and studying are expected to be completed outside of scheduled working hours.
This role requires someone who is committed to investing the time and effort necessary to complete the licensing process and successfully pass the required licensing exam.
What's Next?
Once you have successfully obtained the required insurance license and completed the training phase, the goal is to transition you into our Sales Producer role.
As a Sales Producer, you will have the opportunity to work directly with prospective customers, provide insurance solutions based on their needs, build your own sales pipeline, and earn additional compensation through commissions and performance incentives.
This isn't intended to be a long term telemarketing position. It's the first step in a career path with our agency.
We're Looking for Someone Who Is:
- Motivated by goals and results
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
- Confident communicating with new people
- Coachable and willing to learn
- Dependable and consistent
- Able to handle rejection without becoming discouraged
- Organized and disciplined with follow up
- Competitive and self motivated
- Interested in developing a long term career in sales
- Willing to dedicate personal time to completing licensing coursework and studying
- No Previous Insurance Experience Required
You don't need to know insurance before you walk through our doors. We're looking for someone with the attitude, work ethic, communication skills, and drive to succeed. We'll provide the training, tools, licensing course, and support to help you build the knowledge you need.
If you're looking for more than your next job and want an opportunity to develop your skills, earn your insurance license, and grow into a professional sales career, we'd love to meet you.
