- Phoenix, AZLeisure Life Travel | 100% Remote | 1099 Independent Contractor | Training & Mentorship Provided Leisure Life Travel is seeking motivated, business-minded individuals in the Phoenix, Arizona area who are interested in developing a professional travel business while helping clients plan cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel experiences.
This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-based opportunity and is not an hourly or salaried W-2 position. This opportunity is best suited for individuals who are comfortable with customer service, sales, marketing, client follow-up, and building long-term business relationships.
No previous travel industry experience is required. Travel industry training, supplier education, mentorship, and ongoing support are provided.
About the Role As a Remote Travel Advisor, you will work directly with clients to understand their vacation needs, destination interests, travel preferences, and budget.
You will research and recommend cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel options while providing accurate information regarding pricing, availability, destinations, promotions, supplier policies, and reservation requirements.
Advisors are responsible for managing reservations, maintaining organized client records, monitoring important booking and payment deadlines, and communicating professionally with clients throughout the travel planning process.
Sales, Customer Service & Client Development This opportunity combines travel planning with customer service, sales, and business development.
Travel Advisors are expected to develop new client relationships, follow up with prospective travelers, maintain communication with existing clients, generate referrals, encourage repeat bookings, and build a consistent client base.
Successful advisors understand that business is developed through relationships, networking, referrals, marketing, social media, and consistent follow-up.
This is not a passive work-from-home opportunity. Advisors should be comfortable communicating with people, developing relationships, recommending travel products, following up with potential clients, and working toward personal business and sales goals.
Marketing & Social Media Advisors should be willing to market their travel services both online and within their personal and professional networks.
Basic knowledge of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok is helpful. Advisors will receive guidance on using social media and relationship-based marketing to promote destinations, cruises, resorts, vacation packages, group travel, and other travel services.
Previous marketing experience is not required, but candidates should be willing to learn and consistently apply marketing strategies.
Training & Supplier Education Professional training and continued education are important parts of this opportunity.
Advisors will learn how to access and use approved cruise line, resort, tour operator, vacation package, and travel supplier systems.
Participation in company, supplier, and destination training is expected. Advisors should be willing to continually develop their knowledge of travel products, destinations, reservation systems, supplier policies, sales, marketing, and client service.
Candidates must be coachable and willing to apply what they learn.
Time Commitment Independent contractors should be prepared to dedicate approximately 15 hours per week to developing their travel business.
This time may include client communication, travel research, reservation management, prospecting, sales follow-up, marketing, social media activity, supplier education, and professional training.
The schedule is flexible, but consistency, follow-up, organization, and personal accountability are important.
Compensation This is a commission-based 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity. There is no guaranteed hourly wage or salary.
Earnings are based on eligible completed travel bookings, sales activity, client development, consistency, and overall individual business performance.
Applicable supplier incentives, travel industry benefits, advisor discounts, and additional opportunities may also be available based on supplier qualifications and requirements.
Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, organized, self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable communicating with clients.
Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, resorts, hotels, reservations, marketing, social media, business development, or travel is helpful but not required.
Candidates should have reliable internet access, basic computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Most importantly, candidates must be willing to learn, follow up, market their services, develop client relationships, participate in training, and actively work toward growing their travel business.
