The Impact You'll MakePower Solutions is looking to hire our next Account Manager for our Fluid Conveyance Distribution Sales team. As an Account Manager, you will be the face of , building powerful relationships with our fluid conveyance distribution channel partners across the Northeast US. You won’t just be selling products; you’ll be delivering high-value, system-based solutions that solve real-world challenges. You will be the trusted expert our partners rely on to win in the market and grow their business alongside ours.
We are looking for someone that understands the fluid power industry and can claim the value of our system-based solutions, while simultaneously developing strong relationships with key stakeholders at our channel partners.
The candidate will be based remotely out of their home office within the Central US: MO, KS, IA, NE, SD, ND. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not being offered for this position.
What You’ll Be Doing- Drive profitable sales growth by identifying new opportunities and strengthening relationships with our distribution partners throughout your territory.
- Act as a trusted advisor to distributors and their customers, understanding their technical needs and delivering high-value fluid conveyance solutions
. - Develop and execute strategic sales plans for your assigned accounts, ensuring we meet and exceed our ambitious growth targets.
- Lead impactful quarterly business reviews with key partners to align strategy, review performance, and plan for future success.
- Serve as the expert on your market, gathering and communicating key intelligence to keep ahead of the curve.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within hydraulics, fluid power, or a related industrial field.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong technical and commercial skills.
- Proven success in managing accounts and building relationships, ideally within a distribution channel sales model.
- Excellent communication skills and the technical aptitude to understand and sell complex system solutions.
- The ability to travel up to 50% across the territory
- Experience using a CRM system to manage your sales pipeline and market activity is a strong plus.
