Strategic Account Manager (Based Remotely) – Industrial Automation

Full-time position in a multinational company known for its products, technologies, and strong financial stability.

Our client has recently created a Strategic Accounts team to focus on large, strategic customers. As a Key Account Manager, you will assume responsibility for two to three new strategic customers and develop them into significant revenue‑generating accounts.

First‑year success:

• Experience selling into an industrial automation environment, preferably with Ethernet connectivity.
• Developed deep and wide relationships with strategic accounts.
• Created opportunities for customers and internal Product Management/R&D to generate revenue and drive long‑term, sustainable growth.
• Produced a revenue stream and pipeline for revenue growth.

Success will depend upon:

• Proven ability to nurture and grow relationships and business with large, complex accounts.
• Excellent project management skills and abilities.
• Grit to persevere through a long sales cycle with strategic accounts.
• Knowledge of how to effectively utilize and deploy internal resources.
• Ability to use solutions‑based selling to communicate and collaborate, identify customer pain points, and creatively solve problems.
