As a Student Selection Representative, you're often the first person a prospective student and their family talk to, and you guide them all the way from that first conversation to the day they start the program. As a Student Selection Representative
, you'll:
Guide prospective students through the enrollment journey, from first interest to their first day of class.
Build real relationships with students and their families, earning trust and clearly communicating the value of our training.
Close enrollment opportunities using strong sales skills and consistent, timely follow-up.
Support the details that matter, including onboarding paperwork, housing documents, financial aid applications, loan options, and payment plans.
Keep clean records and track your activity in our CRM, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Hit your numbers and report on key metrics like lead conversion, application completion, and enrollment.
Work as a team with the Student Selection group and other departments to give every student a smooth, positive experience.
The understanding that this is a sales role and results matter. You tackle your sales targets with a "No Matter What" mentality.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication, people, and presentation skills.
The ability to build rapport and trust with all kinds of people.
Solid organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Comfort with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of welding or trade education is a plus, not a requirement.
Mostly desk work using a computer and phone.
Some standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Schedule: Full-time, about 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Shifts fall between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM, based on business needs. Occasional Saturday work.
Setting: Office-based, with occasional travel to recruitment events or off-site locations.
Physical: Mostly desk work using a computer and phone. Some standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
FLSA status: Exempt.
Benefits eligibility: Full-time employees working 30+ hours a week. Enroll within 30 days of your start date and coverage begins on day 31.
