They are currently seeking several highly motivated, customer-focused, and experienced Fertilizer Sales Advisors to join their expanding team.
Fertilizer Sales AdvisorKey Responsibilities
- Facilitate, build, and maintain positive long-term relationships with farmers and growers to create and promote repeat business.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through cold calls, networking and research.
- Attend and promote products at trade shows and conferences.
- Make fertilizer and fertility recommendations to growers and farmers.
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet territory goals.
- Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
- Forecast supply requirements.
- Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently.
- Keep up to date on all agronomy services and technology.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
- 3+ years' experience in fertility agronomic sales.
- Current book of business is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in an agricultural related field is preferred.
- Current CCA certificate.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Strong agronomic knowledge of fertilizer formulations and a passion for working directly with growers.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Must currently reside in California and have a valid U.S. driver's license.
