.Role Descriptio
n The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, hybrid role based in St Louis, MO, with flexibility for some work from home. This role focuses on generating new business by prospecting homeowners, qualifying leads, and conducting on-site consultations to understand customers’ landscaping needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include delivering professional sales presentations, explaining product options and pricing, preparing quotes, and following up to close sales.

The representative will build and maintain strong customer relationships, provide responsive customer service throughout the sales cycle, and collaborate with installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience. The role also involves tracking sales activities, using CRM tools, and participating in occasional events or marketing initiatives to promote AE Landscape Borders in the local market

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Presentations skills, including the ability to clearly explain products, benefits, and pricing options
• .Candidates should possess Relationship Building and New Business Development skills to identify prospects, nurture leads, and grow the customer base
• .Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to ensure a positive, professional experience for every customer
• .Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel to customer locations in the St Louis, MO area
• .Prior experience in outside sales, home services, construction, or related fields is preferred but not required
• .Comfort using basic digital tools (CRM systems, email, calendars) and the ability to manage schedules and follow-ups independently
• .Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including time in the field, at local offices, and from home, with a self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset
