Biotech Territory Sales Specialist – Remote Equity

Our client is an AI/ML-driven protein engineering company building next-generation recombinant proteins for drug discovery and therapeutic development.

Using computational biology and high-throughput screening, they're engineering proteins with best-in-class functionality, thermal stability and manufacturability, solving the lot-to-lot variability and animal-origin dependence that limits traditional expression platforms.

Backed, funded, and scaling fast → expanding from 3 SKUs to a 15-product cytokine portfolio, with a product advancing toward GMP manufacturing for IND-enabling and clinical use.

We're now helping them to hire two Sales Specialists to build out two of the country's most important life sciences hubs from the ground up;

→ Boston role: owns the Greater Boston territory, focused on biotech, CROs and cell therapy customers across the Boston/Cambridge corridor.

→ San Diego role: remote, based in San Diego, covering the local biotech corridor plus the Bay Area, with APAC account support from international distributors.

What you'll need to apply:

→ 3-5 years life sciences technical sales experience

→ Track record selling recombinant proteins, cytokines or growth factors

→ Hands-on wet lab experience, you know these reagents from the bench, not just the deck

→ Self-starter comfortable owning a full territory and sales cycle
