The Roofing Sales Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for generating and managing roofing sales opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include responding to inbound leads, prospecting new clients, conducting virtual consultations, and preparing accurate estimates and proposals for roofing projects. The specialist will explain roofing options, materials, and services, while addressing customer questions and concerns in a clear and professional manner. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with local production teams, maintaining detailed records in the CRM system, and following up regularly to close opportunities.

This role also involves meeting sales targets, staying informed about industry standards and products, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes.

• Strong understanding of roofing systems, materials, and structures; experience with roofs in residential or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of carpentry and basic construction practices relevant to roofing projects.
• Awareness of working at height requirements and safety considerations applicable to roofing work.
• Familiarity with insulation solutions and waterproofing methods for roof performance and durability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills, including virtual presentation ability.
• Comfort with remote work tools, CRM software, and basic digital office applications.
• Ability to interpret technical information and explain it clearly to customers without specialized knowledge.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and willingness to collaborate with distributed teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally for site visits, if required.
• Previous experience in roofing or building trades is preferred but not mandatory.
