The Regional Sales Manager position is a challenging and dynamic position with opportunities for advancement. As a Regional Sales Manager with Westlake Financial, you will be educating and training our current Dealer Account Managers. Team size is between 10-15 Internal Dealer Account Managers. This position is for the Northern California and Pacific North West Market.
Operating in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment, this role requires a consultative approach to sales, management, and team leadership.
Each Regional Manager is responsible for owning their market, leading and developing their team, and building a deep understanding of the Westlake Program to identify opportunities, drive growth, and achieve sustained success. The role also requires regular travel within the assigned market to support team performance, develop dealer relationships, recruit talent, and ensure the successful execution of Westlake’s business strategy.
This is a full-time position offering a comprehensive benefits package. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead, coach, and develop Dealer Account Managers to drive individual and regional performance.
- Manage outside sales teams across the assigned Northern California and Pacific Northwest region.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new sales representatives.
- Drive new business by developing dealer relationships and selling company products and services.
- Establish sales goals, develop action plans, and hold the team accountable for results.
- Monitor performance through regular quality checks, coaching, reporting, and follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective dealers while addressing and resolving concerns.
- Develop strategies to increase dealer retention and reduce attrition.
- Represent the company at recruiting, marketing, trade, and industry events.
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned territory to support the team, develop dealer relationships, and drive market growth.

EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years external sales management experience managing a team of 15 to 20 external reps
- Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales
- High energy and with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and various sales software applications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a closely related field
- Strong computer skills, telephone management, and adaptability to new technology

- Able to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams
