Overview:
The Partner Alliance Director is a senior individual contributor role within Seismic's Global Partnerships organization responsible for growing a portfolio of our most strategic technology and platform alliances, including Microsoft, Salesforce, Oracle, AWS, and other enterprise ecosystem leaders.
This role turns strategic partner potential into measurable business outcomes across revenue, product innovation, distribution, and market reach. Success requires strong executive alignment, disciplined joint business planning, product collaboration, and consistent GTM execution.
The right leader understands how large technology ecosystems operate, can navigate complex partner organizations, and knows how to align Seismic's priorities with each partner's business, product, and field strategy.
This is not a traditional relationship-management role. We are looking for someone who can identify whitespace, shape how each alliance should evolve, align internal and external stakeholders, and personally drive execution. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with operational rigor and be equally comfortable leading executive conversations, reviewing product roadmaps, driving must-win account strategies, and resolving cross-functional blockers.
Who you are:
- 8- 10 + years of experience in strategic alliances, technology partnerships, platform ecosystems, or enterprise business development.
- Proven success building and expanding strategic partnerships with enterprise technology companies, hyperscalers, or platform providers, delivering measurable business impact.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior leaders internally and externally.
- Deep understanding of B2B SaaS, enterprise technology ecosystems, and partner-led go-to-market motions, with the ability to develop multi-year alliance strategies spanning product, GTM, marketing, and commercial priorities.
- Strong product and technical acumen, including experience translating product strategy and roadmaps into partnership opportunities involving APIs, integrations, AI, and platform ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Operations without direct authority.
- Highly autonomous, commercially minded, and execution-oriented, with exceptional communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
You’ll Thrive Here If You
- View strategic alliances as businesses to grow - not relationships to maintain.
- Develop a clear point of view on how each partnership should evolve and align Seismic's priorities with the partner's business, product, and GTM strategy.
